About Coach Vinson:
For over a decade I have been involved in the fitness industry, enriching students and athletes in all sports of multiple levels. It brings me great joy to direct specialized exercise conditioning programs through personal training, coaching and teaching all ages, sexes, and fitness levels. My impact has been felt in each community that I have lived in serving as a physical education, health teacher and coach in the state of Arizona since 1998. After having worked with professional, collegiate and high school athletes I have acquired a variety of great techniques and skills to get the fitness results that a person of any age or sex may desire. In the classroom my passion is to instill in you people the notion "It's not just fitness, it's your life."
Everyone who commits to fitness deserves the opportunity to live a healthy lifestyle. Adopting the motto "Fit 2 Play 4 Life” has brought a name to match the passion that generates from my heart.
I took interest in fitness at a very young age. For me, being active was not a hobby, it was a life changing decision. As a collegiate hoopster, and the starting point guard for Seattle Pacific University i received a slew of honors and still hold records for the Falcon teams she directed. I studied many elements of health and physical education, earning a bachelor’s degree in physical education at Seattle Pacific University in 1998. In addition, I have committed to grow and develop in my studies of health and fitness throughout the years through seminars, classes and training. Working with the women's basketball program at Arizona State University I received a Masters degree in Educational Administration and Supervision in 2003.
Putting It All Together
Combining the love of teaching and coaching to help all involved overcome their fitness challenges I have developed programs that reach far beyond the norms and reach far beyond the classroom and the playing field. Having the opportunity to work with athletes of all ages to help attain their personal goals. It has been a great blessing to be able to use the strength that I have gained in fitness through working at D1 University, community college, high school, middle school and several non profit organizations to reach all people. I will work personally with each student-athlete to make sure they have a program that fits their individual need, fits their lifestyle, and helps them accomplish their goals to be fit 2 play now, and more importantly "be fit 2 play 4 life."
